Hi, I am Kayleigh

Personal trainer,
wife and mum.

I am a personal trainer, wife, and mum to my beautiful little girl, Isobel. I navigate the juggle of work, motherhood, and ever-changing hormones just like many of the women I work with.

I am passionate about helping women feel strong, confident, and comfortable in their bodies at every stage of life. Whether you are rebuilding after a baby, training in sync with your hormones, or simply want to feel fitter and stronger, I am here for it.

Questions I get asked a lot.

Especially from mums and women who are not sure if now is the right time.

When is it safe to start exercising after having a baby?

Every body is different, but most women can begin gentle movement from around 6 weeks postnatal — and more structured strength work from 12 weeks, once cleared by their GP or midwife. I always start with a full assessment to understand where you are right now, not where you think you should be. Still unsure? Your first session is the perfect place to ask.

I had a C-section. Can I still train with you?

Absolutely. C-section recovery requires a slightly different approach, especially in the early weeks, but it does not mean you cannot train. I have experience working with women post C-section and will always programme around your healing, not against it. Still unsure? Your first session is the perfect place to ask.

What if I have diastasis recti (abdominal separation)?

This is something I assess and work with regularly. Many women do not even know they have it. I will check for it in your first session and build a programme that supports healing rather than making it worse. You do not need to avoid exercise — you just need the right exercise. Still unsure? I have not exercised in years. Is that okay?

It is more than okay — it is exactly where I love to start. There is no judgement here, only a plan that meets you where you are and builds from there. The Women's Strength Kickstart programme was designed with you in mind. Still unsure? Your first session is the perfect place to ask.

I am going through perimenopause. Can training actually help?

Yes — and the research backs this up. Strength training is one of the most effective tools for managing perimenopause symptoms including fatigue, mood changes, weight shifts and bone density loss. I specialise in this area and will build a programme that works with your hormones, not against them. Still unsure? Your first session is the perfect place to ask.

Do you offer online training?

Yes. I offer fully online coaching for women who cannot make it to Edithvale in person. You get a personalised programme, regular check-ins and full support — all from wherever you are. Still unsure? Your first session is the perfect place to ask.
